What do these terms mean?

AU (astronomical unit): average Earth–Sun distance, 1 AU ≈ 1.496×1011 m.

M☉ (solar mass): mass of the Sun, 1 M☉ ≈ 1.988×1030 kg.

km/s: kilometres per second for velocities (1 km/s = 1000 m/s).

X, Y position: coordinates in the simulation plane measured in AU from the origin (the canvas centre by default). Positive X is right, positive Y is up.

Time speed: how many days of simulated time per real second the integrator advances.

Trails: fading paths of recent positions. Trail fade adapts to zoom so the view stays clear.

Zoom & pan: use your mouse wheel to zoom (centred on the pointer). Drag empty space to pan the camera.
